About Me

Prof. Erdem Cuce was born in 1985 in İspir, Erzurum, Türkiye. When he was two years old, his family moved to Rize, where he spent his childhood and early academic years. He completed his primary education at Atatürk Primary School, his secondary education at Mehmet Akif Ersoy Secondary School, and his high school education at Rize Anatolian High School. Demonstrating strong academic promise from an early stage, he was admitted to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Uludag University in 2002 and graduated with honours.
Following his undergraduate education, Prof. Cuce began his Master of Science studies in Mechanical Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University in 2006. During this period, he developed a strong research foundation in mechanical engineering and successfully completed his MSc degree in 2009 with high honours. His postgraduate work was supported by a research project funded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), reflecting the scientific merit and national relevance of his early research activities.
In 2011, Prof. Cuce was awarded a prestigious Doctoral Research Scholarship by the Turkish Ministry of National Education. This scholarship provided him with the opportunity to pursue doctoral studies in the United Kingdom, marking a significant turning point in his academic career and opening the way for his subsequent international research development.
